Ever Evolving Student Council

VSIS aims at all round development of a child’s personality by encouraging them to explore, identify and hone their innate skills and talents. With Student Council, we provide them an opportunity to develop leadership qualities by giving them responsibilities. Being a representative body, the elected students act as an interface between students and concerned authorities for identifying and addressing the concerns that directly or indirectly affect students. This is a democratic process to give students a voice in school governance in specific areas. Student members learn about teamwork, leadership and above all the democratic process and civic responsibility.

The selection process at VSIS is a rigorous one that involves various rounds of selection procedures to judge the right candidature for the student council concluding with a final round of interviews with the school management committee.
